For the past 6 years, I have been developing this talented young lady (who is now 14). Under my mentorship, Avery is learning the craft of songwriting, vocal phrasing, studio techniques and is now studying with Marilyn Swick. She is a triple threat! She can sing, act, and write songs. Plus she's super humble, sweet and kind (which is rare in this business).
ACTING ROLE AS HERSELF: Hashtag Blessed, the movie: After the movie director heard a song we wrote together ( "Candy Canes & Christmas", she licensed it for the movie she was producing, and she loved our song so much (and ultimately Avery's look) that she offered Avery a speaking role in the movie, opposite a scene with Santa. Avery also sang along with Santa on Jingle Bells, strumming her guitar.
LEAD ROLE OF "HOPE" in Ocean Child, short: Because I am the Music Supervisor on this film, I introduced Avery to the director when she told me she was looking for a lead actress who could sing. After some acting lessons (which she quickly proved she was a natural at), Avery landed the lead role as "Hope" in the movie. Avery and I wrote the theme song together with the movie producer, Marilyn Swick. The song is called "Wish Upon A Starfish", Avery is the featured artist on the song (which is scheduled for release this Summer). You can hear this song in the playlist below.
DEANS OF NASHVILLE PODCAST INTERVIEW: Avery was interviewed on "Deans of Nashville" show. She speaks about her role in Ocean Child and how her music and acting career started.
DEBUT EP
Avery wrote the lyrics for her song Gotta Let Go (it's her first time at a solo lyric for a song). She travelled to Nashville to co-write with multi-award winning songwriter, Corey Lee Barker who crafted melody and finished the song with Avery.
Her EP includes musicians Jason Ahlbrandt, Red Guitar Nashville and Nicolas Laget, who is producing Avery's vocals at The Sweet Spot Studio in Virginia.
Amberlight Valley is a song featuring Avery Lynn as the artist. The song was written by Donna Bukevicz, Corey Lee Barker and Avery. This song is to be featured in the upcoming movie The Christmas Witch (which Donna is a Music Supervisor on as well). It will be filming this Winter 2024. She has auditioned for a part in the film (TBD).
EP Songs:
We Can Do Better (Bukevicz/Barker/Rodgers), Riding Free (Bukevicz/Bond/Rodgers), Gotta Let Go (Rodgers/Barker) and Somewhere in Montana (Rodgers/Bukevicz)
